My fee is $45 an hour. For a manuscript critique, I work at about six pages per hour (assuming your manuscript is the standard 300 or so words per page). For an 70,000-word novel, my fee for a critique would be about $1,746.
For a full edit, I work at about three pages each hour. The fee for an 70,000-word novel would be about $3,492.
Please note that the above are examples. Once we have spoken about your project, I'll be able to determine the precise fee. You will not be asked to pay more than the fee we agree on in advance.
I also work on partial manuscripts. So if you send me, say the first 35,000 words of your novel, the fee would be about half the estimates above.
